Job Description

Job Title:
Electrical Engineer - Project Engineer (TPL) Job Description The role involves developing systems to test new NPI components or field return ECMs, displays, and sensors. The support engineer will be responsible for coordinating verification and validation activities on changes for previous and current production electrical systems. This role requires documenting test results and communicating them to teams or suppliers, as well as coordinating the scheduling of test activities with internal and external test resources. Responsibilities Develop systems for testing new NPI components and gain opportunities for growth. Work in a team environment to identify test cases. Test all aspects of the product including function, performance, and regression. Set up test environments and design test plans. Collaborate with the team to develop test cases, scenarios, and use cases, and execute these cases. Run tests correctly and consistently. Work closely with the design team to develop and perform the required test activities. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in computer or electronics engineering. 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering and testing. Experience with lab equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, and Operational Amplifiers. Experience with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) tool/process. Experience with Failure Mode Effect & Root Cause Analysis (FMEA) process. Good documentation and presentation skills using MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge and experience with connectivity/telematics technologies. Experience with
Operating Systems:
MS Windows 7, 8, 10, UNIX, and Ubuntu. Additional Skills & Qualifications Related BS or MS projects or internships will be considered if durations are included. Related Associate's Degree will be considered with an additional two years' experience (seven years minimum). Experience with Canalyzer, ECM, ECU, engine control module, electronic control unit, LED, LCD, sensor, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, FMEA, root cause analysis, amplifier, function generator, harness, Tektronix, and dSPACE. Work Environment The position is located on-site in a building with air conditioning in Mossville, IL. The work environment is collaborative, with a focus on teamwork and innovation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chillicothe, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
