Job Description
About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Specialist to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our facility's electrical systems and equipment. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in electrical systems, motor controls, and building automation to troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and implement improvements. Your proficiency in electrical repair and strong understanding of VFDs will be crucial to success. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in pumps, motors, VFDs, building automation systems, panels, and wiring/conduit. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure continuous operation. Implement improvements and modifications to electrical systems to enhance efficiency and reliability. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and electrical system configurations. Collaborate with other maintenance staff to address complex issues and optimize overall facility performance. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices. Qualifications Required Skills Solid understanding of 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems. Proven expertise in commercial electrical systems. Demonstrated proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair. Preferred Skills Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Servo Motors. Familiarity with building automation systems. Ability to learn quickly, work independently or as part of a team, and utilize computer systems effectively.
