Mesa Associates seeks an engineering intern to assist engineers and designers with day-to-day tasks of designing substation upgrade projects. Tasks will involve utilizing AutoCAD, AutoCAD Vault, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education/Experience:
ABET accredited College/University engineering major - junior or senior (Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering) student in good standing. Also, accepting applications of students currently enrolled in a technical degree program with a focus on Electrical Design, Automation, Control Systems, Physical design or drafting. Former experience is not required, but must be familiar with MS Excel, MS Word. Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam preferred.
Responsibilities:
Must be able to follow an agreed upon work schedule. Work well with various team members. Take instructions well and be willing to learn. Associates or better in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field. Bachelors or better in Electrical Engineering or related field. Bachelors or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Technical/other training or better in Design and Technical Production or related field.
