Controls Engineer Controls Engineer Position Overview We are seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program, commission, and support control systems for automated manufacturing equipment. The role focuses on developing reliable PLC/HMI solutions, troubleshooting electrical and control issues, and collaborating with mechanical and manufacturing teams to improve machine performance, safety, and uptime. Key Responsibilities Design, program, and implement Allen-Bradley PLC logic (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix) using ladder logic, function block, and structured text Create, test, and deploy automation sequences, interlocks, and safety logic Maintain version control, backups, and documentation for all PLC/HMI programs Lead automation upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement projects Analyze electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams Troubleshoot issues with drives, sensors, instrumentation, and control circuits Ensure compliance with
NEC, NFPA
