Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of industrial equipment. This role involves creating initial concepts, proposals, cost estimates, schematics, and bills of materials, and may include programming, startup, and ongoing support. Essential Skills 1-5 years of experience designing electrical systems using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and/or Solidworks. Familiarity with transformers, motors, and power-related topics. Creation of AC and DC control circuits. Proficiency in office applications such as Excel and Word. Responsibilities Design and develop industrial systems. Generate initial concepts, proposals, and cost estimates. Create schematics and bills of materials. Oversee startup and provide support. Collaborate with the team to integrate industrial sensing and actuating devices. Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover Park, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $44.00/hr.
