Fabrication Our client, a contract manufacturer specializing in precision fabrication and integrated electromechanical assemblies, is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support the design, build, and validation of industrial electrical and control systems. This individual will serve as a technical leader within manufacturing, ensuring electrical designs, panels, and assemblies meet customer, regulatory, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the assembly of industrial control panels, including component placement, wire routing, and overall build quality. Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, including assistance with equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting. Develop and execute functional, continuity, and validation testing for electrical systems and panels. Identify root causes of wiring or system issues and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance and performance. Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and assembly teams to support efficient, compliant, and repeatable electrical builds.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience. Active UL Manufacturers Technical Representative (MTR) certification, or the demonstrated ability to successfully complete the UL certification process. At least five years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with hands-on electrical responsibilities. Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and blueprints. Experience developing clear, operator-level work instructions aligned to product and process requirements. Proficiency using hand tools and electrical test equipment, including multimeters.
