Job Description

Constellation Energy is seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to support critical projects in the Utilities & Energy sector. In this role, you will design, analyze, and improve power generation and distribution systems, supporting reliability, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities include equipment specification, system modeling, root-cause analysis, and supporting capital projects from concept through commissioning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable and renewable technologies, ensure regulatory and code compliance, and drive continuous improvement across plant operations and energy assets. Responsibilities Design and analyze mechanical or electrical systems for power generation and distribution assets Develop equipment specifications, drawings, and technical documentation Perform system modeling, studies, and calculations to optimize reliability and efficiency Support capital projects from concept through commissioning, including field support Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment and system issues Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration of sustainable and renewable technologies Support maintenance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives for plant operations Required Skills Mechanical engineering design Electrical power systems analysis Auto CAD or similar CAD tools ETAP or power systems modeling software System modeling and simulation Root-cause failure analysis Knowledge of
NEC/IEEE/ASME
