An automotive parts manufacturing company near the Marseilles, IL area is seeking a Plant Electrical Engineer. This position involves engineering work in designing & planning. It also oversees installation, operation, and maintenance of plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have previous electrical engineering experience within an industrial environment. In addition to salary, you will be paid

TIME-AND-A-HALF

for any work over 40hours This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate & oversee equipment installations
• Support Maintenance (oversee repairs | troubleshoot equipment when needed)
• Use AutoCAD software to utilize electrical drawings
• Design & update electrical equipment & components
• Ensure all equipment meets OSHA standards
• Involved with new vendor product research

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering At least 5 years' hands-on experience in electrical engineering (industrial) Will also accept an Associate's degree - plus 5-8 years' experience PLC programming & troubleshooting experience is required Experience with motors and controls Experience with pneumatic & hydraulic systems Experience reading & developing schematics (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment responsibly & effectively Able to intermittenly sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc. has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years.
