Job Description
USB, I2C, SPI, UART.
Utilize experience with wireless communication protocols including Bluetooth and LoRa. Document design verification plans. Supports efforts in a reliability lab for execution of design validation (DV) and production validation (PV) tests when needed. Provides guidance to a test engineer for creating an End of Line (EOL) test solution. Estimate timelines for development work based on requirements and existing project workload and keep track of time spent on various projects. Research new technologies and propose ideas to advance our business unit's capabilities to stay ahead in the market. Utilize problem-solving methodologies and Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA, PFMEA, 8D, and fishbones). Checks other engineers' schematics, board layouts, and fabrication drawings for completeness and accuracy. Create technical documentation to support product release based on individual project needs. Interface with internal departments (manufacturing, quality, lab, sales and marketing) to ensure design objectives are met. Utilize effective verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and concisely. Support Molex Quality Management by following approved policies and procedures. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering Proficient with circuit schematic and board layout design (Altium desired) Experience with Bluetooth or BLE What Will Put You Ahead Advanced degree in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar. 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering Strong data analysis skills Some experience with firmware coding (C, Python, etc.) Understanding of characterization of printed antenna design Understanding of flexible printed circuit technologies. For this role, we anticipate paying $100,000 - $140,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
