Our Manufacturing team has partnered with a renowned provider of cutting-edge packaging solutions to bring on an Electrical Controls Engineer to join their dynamic team. With a longstanding commitment to excellence and a track record of serving the local community for over 25 years, our client designs and manufactures robust shrink packaging and bundling machinery for industrial applications.

Responsibilities:

Create and interpret electrical schematics and panel layouts to guide system integration. Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI controls to optimize equipment automation. Collaborate within cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical designs. Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines. Provide field service and start-up support at customer sites as needed. Conduct system debugging, performance testing, and document operation procedures. Deliver training sessions to service personnel on machine operation and maintenance.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in electrical schematic creation and panel layout development. Proficiency in PLC Programming and troubleshooting. Willingness to undertake field service assignments and start-up activities. Strong communication skills and ability to write operation manuals. Preferred experience in the packaging industry and automation sector. In-depth troubleshooting knowledge of electrical components and wiring systems.
