Pay Rate:
Negotiable Responsibilities Prepare, check and issue all electrical drawings (One-line diagrams, electrical equipment location drawings, plan drawings, details, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.) and specifications required for the project. Review and approve MCC, switchgear, transformer and equipment vendor drawings. Perform system calculations and studies for electrical power systems, as and when necessary - load flow, voltage drop, motor starting, short circuit studies, and relay coordination studies. Assist in electrical equipment checkout and startup. Develop technical bid tabulation to support the selection of major electrical equipment, engineered and non-engineered electrical materials. Assist in the development of project schedules and manpower requirements. Review and check technical vendor submittals for installation requirements. Provide regular project progress reports to the Department Manager. Assist Department Manager in the development of department standards and details. Perform checkout of skids to eliminate construction and start-up issues. Required Qualifications Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering Minimum of 2 years hands on experience working with high voltage electrical equipment, i.e. transformers, switchgears, motors, etc. Strong proficiency with engineering design software Additional Information Onsite 3 days a week. 2 days a week travelling to site plants
Travel:
