Job Description
Seeking individual experienced with building and maintaining electrical systems and control automation in an industrial metal processing plant.
Responsibilities:
Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving machine control systems and facilities. Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment. Conferring with engineers, contractors and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects. Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards by preparing electrical systems specifications and technical drawings. Maintaining electrical equipment. Working with a variety of technicians. HMI computer setup and installation. Management of code repository software. OT Network Design & Implementation. OT Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting. OT Network Collaboration with IT. OT Network Vulnerability Management.Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years' experience. Strong background with Rockwell ControlLogix, FactoryTalk View and PowerFlex drives. Strong background with Ethernet and Ethernet/IP. Familiarity with ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profinet, Modbus. Familiarity with Emerson PLCs and HMIs. Familiarity with GE Cimplicity, UC2000 PLC and DC2000 drives. Familiarity with plant power systems, NEC code, pipe and wire sizing. Strong background with electrical drawings and use of AutoCAD LT. Familiarity with control panel design. Familiarity with manufacturing network fundamentals. Familiarity with Industrial Systems, industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and IIoT devices, Industry 4.0. Familiarity with Kepware. Strong documentation and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers. Attention to detail. Occasional travel required. Bachelor's degree preferred but equivalent experience will be considered. Experience with metal processing equipment a plus.Job Type:
