Senior Electrical Engineer

Right now, we are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and multidisciplinary Senior Electrical Engineer to drive both existing product improvements and new product development. The ideal candidate brings the right mix of initiative, expertise, and strong communication skills to join a company experiencing significant growth. In this role, you will drive engineering projects ranging from new capabilities and products to application solutions through launch and full commercialization. You will work directly with our Product Development team to bring new ideas to life and provide engineering and manufacturing support for both new and existing products. Experience with connected devices is highly desirable, as our products integrate mechanical, electrical, and technological components that require a strong understanding of system design and integration. This individual will play an instrumental role in building a center of engineering excellence at Sunlighten's headquarters, ensuring our products continue to uphold their reputation for innovation and reliability. Duties/Responsibilities:

Lead and drive existing product improvements and new product development initiatives. Collaborate with Executive Leadership and the Product Development team (here and internationally) to spearhead new engineering projects. Oversee the full lifecycle of product development from concept through launch and commercialization. Provide engineering support for both new and existing products, addressing and resolving issues as they arise. With these projects, you will need to collaborate with teams across the organization, including Customer Care, Sales, Logistics, Manufacturing and Marketing. Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to perform root cause analysis on complex technical challenges. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring complex data is presented in clear, understandable, and visually appealing formats.
