We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Project Engineer to support equipment installation, facility upgrades, and manufacturing projects within a fast-paced production environment. What You'll Be Doing Investigate project feasibility, scope, schedules, budgets, and technical requirements. Develop project scopes of work, bid packages, and detailed project specifications. Review technical drawings and engineering documentation, providing feedback and recommending design improvements. Evaluate industrial electrical power systems and infrastructure requirements. Ensure equipment and facility compliance with applicable local, state, and national electrical and safety codes. Partner with third-party safety compliance contractors to support project execution and validation. Evaluate power distribution systems, breaker sizing, amp draw calculations, SCCR requirements, and panel loading. Specify and confirm electrical components for manufacturing and industrial equipment. Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, construction management, equipment suppliers, and contractors to achieve project milestones. Coordinate equipment installation activities in both greenfield and brownfield manufacturing environments. Supervise contractors and installation activities to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Work closely with skilled trades, affiliate companies, equipment manufacturers, and engineering teams during project implementation. Identify project risks and develop countermeasures to prevent delays and support successful project completion. Support multiple concurrent projects while maintaining strong communication and project documentation. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Trade Certification, or equivalent hands-on experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Minimum 3 years of project management experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience developing bid specifications and managing contractor negotiations. Minimum 2 years of experience reviewing and interpreting technical drawings. Minimum 2 years of experience with industrial power distribution and electrical system design. Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and compliance requirements. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). Previous Toyota manufacturing or project experience. Automotive paint process experience. AutoCAD proficiency. Ability to understand and calculate utility costs. Understanding of PLC operation and troubleshooting, including: Toyopuc Omron Allen-Bradley Understanding of industrial communication networks, including: FLNet Ethernet/IP Understanding of OT/IT networking concepts. NFPA 70E and NFPA 77 knowledge. OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification. Work Environment 100% onsite manufacturing environment. Local candidates strongly preferred. Occasional travel (up to 10%) to support project activities at manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
