Job Description

DW Collier Engineering, a mechanical and electrical consulting engineering firm, is looking to hire a full time professional electrical engineer. DWCEI is a well-established firm with clients across the entire US providing commercial, industrial and residential design. DWCEI is currently seeking a professional electrical engineer with a PE and a minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical design to join our team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing the layout, analysis, and design of the electrical scope of work for commercial and industrial projects Oversee design for multiple designers and junior engineers Perform quality checking procedures for Electrical Engineering work performed by others. The ability to resolve technical design conflicts. Ensure that designs are completed within the allotted timeframe. Collaborate with engineers and designers to build accurate technical drawings Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and project requirements Revit/Autocad experience is preferred but not required
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) licensure. 3 years' minimum experience. Ability to multi-task. Good oral and written communication skills. Able to work independently and as a team. In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
