This pivotal role involves overseeing all engineering functions within the hotel to ensure optimal performance, safety, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional management skills, technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and efficient environment. As a key leader, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage maintenance teams, and coordinate complex projects to uphold the highest standards of facility excellence. Duties Lead and supervise the engineering team to deliver comprehensive maintenance and repair services across all hotel facilities. Oversee the operation of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage equipment—and plumbing infrastructure to ensure reliability and safety. Manage the preventive maintenance program utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedules, and asset history. Develop and implement facility management strategies aligned with safety regulations, industry standards, and hotel policies. Coordinate with external contractors for specialized services such as industrial maintenance, manufacturing equipment repairs, or large-scale projects. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools like ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues efficiently. Monitor energy consumption and system performance; identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements. Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to high voltage, low voltage, and other electrical systems while maintaining detailed documentation of all maintenance activities. Qualifications Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance within a hospitality or similar environment. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters. Extensive supervisory experience leading diverse teams in fast-paced settings. Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance management and scheduling. Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution—including high voltage and low voltage—along with safety standards governing these areas. Ability to read technical schematics accurately and interpret complex mechanical or electrical diagrams. Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully executing large-scale maintenance or renovation projects. Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus but not required. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
