Job Summary We are seeking a talented and motivated Circuit Design Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with a strong technical background and a passion for innovative design. This role will contribute to a variety of exciting and challenging projects, from initial concept to final implementation. Responsibilities Design and test analog and digital circuitry for various systems for various industry products. Create detailed diagrams, flowcharts, calculations, electrical schematics, PCB layouts, operating procedures and test procedures. Assist in writing embedded firmware on microcontrollers. Proficient in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical analyzers. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other engineers to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions. Ensure all designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from conceptual design and feasibility studies to prototyping, testing, and final production. Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project execution. Contribute to our culture of continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Qualifications ABET Accredited 4-Year Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science focused on Digital Embedded Systems. Competency in power system circuitry, (e.g., MOSFETs, transistors, etc.), communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, etc.) Competency in analog circuitry, mixed signal circuitry (e.g., ADCs, DACs, filters, etc.) , and RF circuit design preferred. Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout software CAD software (e.g., Altium, KiCAD, etc.). Some experience in embedded firmware languages and platforms (e.g., Embedded C) is preferred Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, prototyping processes, testing processes, and troubleshooting processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications PE license in the State of Louisiana preferred, PE pursuit acceptable. Experience with project management and consulting. Knowledge of industry-specific codes and standards.
