Job Description:

This Hardware Engineer role provides an opportunity to apply foundational electrical engineering knowledge while supporting the design, development, and testing of hardware systems in a collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of electrical circuits and embedded systems. Support schematic creation, PCB layout reviews, and documentation updates. Perform basic electrical calculations, simulations, and analysis Conduct laboratory testing, data collection, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Support product validation, verification, and compliance testing. Assist in preparing technical reports, specifications, and design documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, manufacturing, and software engineers. Follow engineering standards, best practices, safety procedures, and quality guidelines.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. Fundamental knowledge of electrical theory, circuit analysis, and electronics. Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies. Basic understanding of CAD or ECAD tools (Altium, PADS, DXPEDITION or similar). Preferred Qualifications Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in the field of atomic clocks, positioning navigation and timing or RF synthesis. Exposure to embedded systems, power systems, controls, or electronics manufacturing. Basic programming or scripting experience (e.g. MATLAB, Python or similar). Basic experience in Hardware Description Languages (e.g. VHDL, Verilog). Knowledge of industry standards (IEEE, NEC, IEC). U.S.
