ELECTRICAL TEST ENGINEER

Quality Manager Summary:
The role of Test Engineers is to thoroughly check materials, procedures and electrical systems to ensure that customers get high-quality, functional products. They run tests on various components and features in order to identify and fix technical issues.
Responsibilities:
Develop test methods that meet requirements outlined in governing design specifications. Write and maintain revision-controlled test instructions for all inspection operations. Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Test Technicians to analyze non-conformances from inspection. Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Test Technicians to record non-conformances in SAP system on Qnotes and disposition as required. Lead a recurring RCCA meeting for internal factory (Q3) Qnotes. Manage calibration of measurement equipment with outside calibration vendors. Responsible for introduction of new measurement equipment such as ATE's. Perform gage R & R and MSA of measurement equipment as required. Support customer Source Inspection as required. Support customer audits as required. Work with Quality Manager to perform internal audits. Work with Quality Manager to develop quality control plans for all product lines. Work with Quality Manager to support Design Reviews (CDR's, PDR's and FDR's).
Qualifications and Skills:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Citizen, Green Card). Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 certified QMS desired. Experience with ERP system such as SAP desired. Experience with best-practice industry tools such as
RCCA, CAPA, PFMEA, 8D
Analysis, DMAIC and SPC desired. Must be familiar with Windows and Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Power Point) Must have experience reading technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics. Must have experience with electrical inspection tools and equipment such as ATE, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, function generators, multimeters, hipot testers, etc. Must be willing to adapt this job responsibilities as needed.
