Job Description

Principal R D Electronic Engineer Medical Device and Robotics Newton, Mass - on site Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and PCB Testing required ( along with Additional qualifications )
Position Overview:
The Principal Electronics Engineer will be a part of the R D organization and an part of the future of healthcare. You will be a technical lead in driving to resolve complex multi-disciplinary issues. Additionally, you will create, refine and implement technical processes and best practices for electrical engineering development. The result of your work will directly influence design iterations in a regulated medical device development environment. This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Principal Electrical Engineer, Robotics, you will be responsible for:
  • Responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams to debug and troubleshoot complex issues and to thoroughly document the investigation including recommendations to design
  • Responsible for electrical engineering planning and design for robustness and reliability for PCBs and cabling
  • Responsible for generating and implementing best practices and process documentation for electronics development
  • Project Management responsibilities may include vendor and supplier management, directing design and test technician resources.
  • May lead/conduct characterization or testing of PCBAs 5 Must-have skills for this position : Medical experience - Working knowledge of
IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2
Leading and resolving complex multidisciplinary issues with good practices and documentation Developing, documentation and maintaining detailed processes and best practices for medical electronics development. Design, documentation and Execution of electronic tests Circuit analysis (mixed signal, digital, and analog) with strong fundamentals Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Newton, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
