Electrical Project Engineer Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc - 3.5 Worcester, MA Job Details Full-time $80,000 - $130,000 a year 20 hours ago Qualifications Alarm systems Lighting systems Emergency power systems Power distribution systems NFPA 70 compliance Full Job Description Weston & Sampson is seeking a motivated, proactive individual to work within our growing electrical group as an Electrical Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and construction administration working in a multi-disciplinary professional engineering firm involved in the production of contract documents. This individual will support our growing internal and external clients serving the educational, commercial, water, wastewater and municipal industries. A solid understanding of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, emergency power generation and the NEC is required. What you'll do: Perform engineering and design for both new and renovation projects for a variety of facility types within the public, private and municipal sectors. Responsibilities will include production of contract drawings, field investigations, shop drawings, reports and participation in project meetings. Duties will include coordinating with multi-disciplinary personnel located in local and regional offices, working with sub-consultants, equipment vendors and clients. A successful candidate should be capable of working independently with minimal oversight and be capable of initiating coordination with other building system disciplines.
