Job Description

Project Electrical Engineer

Position Summary Seeking a senior-level Electrical Engineer to lead the design, integration, testing, and implementation of complex power, control, robotics, and electromechanical systems. This role requires hands-on engineering expertise across the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through assembly, integration, troubleshooting, and testing. Key Responsibilities Lead electrical and control system design activities. Develop electrical architectures, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams. Conduct design reviews and support system integration efforts. Mentor junior engineers and technicians. Troubleshoot and test complex electrical and electromechanical systems. Support project execution with minimal supervision. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 7+ years of electrical engineering experience. Experience with design, analysis, integration, troubleshooting, and testing of complex electrical/electromechanical systems. Strong electrical system design and control systems background. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship required. Preferred Experience COTS hardware integration. Embedded systems and SBC-based control systems. DC power systems design.

Industrial communications:

Ethernet, RS-232/422/485, CAN, SPI, I2C, USB. Electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system documentation. EMI/noise mitigation, grounding, and cabling. Altium, AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, MATLAB, SPICE. Robotics, automation, PCB design, and motion control systems. Experience with electrical test equipment and system validation.
