St. Agatha, Maine job type: Permanent salary: $90,000 - 100,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Troubleshoot, and provide support for various electrical systems, including high-voltage power distribution, low and medium voltage power systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and AC/DC drives. Update, validate electrical designs and drawings covering power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation for all areas of operations.
Update system drawings and the site wide power distribution system modelPerform equipment failure analysis and make appropriate recommendationsReviewing proposed equipment replacement or upgrades including capital projectsProvide cost estimates for engineering projectsWork with other engineers and maintenance department to complete projects (Planning, Scheduling, Reliability)Support the operations and maintenance teams with troubleshooting and continuous improvementCoordinate and manage various "key" projects with "shutdown/outages"Scheduling and coordinating with contractors for capital projects/major maintenance.
