Design, maintain, and improve industrial electrical systems supporting power distribution, controls, instrumentation, equipment reliability, and capital projects. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Ability to travel throughout North America and internationally up to 10% of the time. Preferred Skills Maintenance or maintenance supervision experience. Experience with industrial power distribution systems. Experience with electrical control systems and instrumentation. Experience supporting equipment reliability and failure analysis. Experience with capital projects, shutdowns, and outages. Job Responsibilities Create, update, and validate electrical designs and drawings for power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation. Maintain system drawings and site-wide power distribution system models. Perform equipment failure analysis and develop technical recommendations. Review proposed equipment replacements, upgrades, and capital projects. Develop cost estimates for engineering projects. Support project planning, scheduling, maintenance, and reliability activities. Troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems in support of operations and maintenance. Identify and implement opportunities to improve equipment cost, performance, and efficiency. Coordinate projects associated with shutdowns and outages. Schedule and coordinate contractors for capital projects and major maintenance activities.
Pay:
