Job Description

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Electrical Engineer candidates in the Sanford, ME area. We're looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges, collaborating cross-functionally, and developing high-performance, reliable products in a purpose-driven manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, research, and implement electrical engineering projects with a focus on reliability, manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. Develop and maintain documentation, including electrical schematics, technical specifications for outsourced components, manufacturing and assembly drawings, and cost evaluations. Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical support. Support internal teams and customers with engineering solutions and problem resolution. Define and execute testing procedures. Lead product improvement efforts, including issuing engineering change requests (ECRs) and engineering change notices (ECNs). Identify and implement component replacements as needed. Apply Lean principles to eliminate waste and improve processes. Collaborate in continuous improvement initiatives using systems thinking.
Desired Background/Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Five or more years of relevant experience, which may include apprenticeship hours. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with test and measurement equipment. Experience with PLC, EMI, and EMC systems. Experience working with a variety of electrical products. Sheet metal or steel experience is a plus. Hands-on wiring and assembly experience. Experience working with third-party testing organizations. Advanced programming knowledge. Experience with circuit board (PCB) and equipment design. Mechanical aptitude, including sheet metal design.
