Develop and implement control algorithms for electric motor applications within powertrain systems using MATLAB-Simulink and C/C++ Process data received via communication network and validate them using standardized methods Support diagnostic development and OBD compliance activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality solutions. Ensure compliance with
ISO 26262
functional safety standards. Perform pre-verification of the implementation through Model In The Loop (MIL) testing and pre-verification of the generated code, through Software in the Loop (SIL) testing Develop proto software builds as required and validate on Hardware In the Loop ( HIL) , Dynamometer or vehicle using
ETAS INCA
tools; Own DVP&R's for assigned SWCs and perform updates when SW content is updated. Analyze and provide timely response/solutions to the tracked issues; Develop & maintain controls` design documents for assigned software components. Participate and contribute in daily scrum meetings, regularly track SW development using Agile methodology , actively participate in Big room planning activities and sprint planning sessions
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or related degree field Minimum of 5-year experience in the following: Engine or electric Motor Controls development in MATLAB/Simulink auto-coding environment AUTOSAR software development experience using DSPACE SystemDesk and RTE Demonstrated technical problem solving Demonstrated working level experience in decomposing intended function into controls design documents Strong overall knowledge of vehicle and powertrain functions Experience with modeling, simulation, development, testing, calibration and/or validation Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in with emphasis in core Motor controls, power electronics, and electrical machines. Embedded C++ programming Analysis of CAN logs, including message counter and CRC calculation and verification Controls design experience to meet
ISO 26262
functional safety compliance.
