Controls Engineer

Description Develop, validate & standardize controls devices data parsing PLC logic, own and update auto PLC logic generation tool. Develop PLC logic (Rockwell, Siemens, Fanuc) using programming languages (Python/C++/etc.) Ensure compliance common controls hardware and software strategies for newly developed DLA controls solutions Ensure compliance plant floor systems, networking and cyber security requirements Collaborate with DLA core team, business, IT, Automation and analytics community to capture, prioritize, plan Support

Controls, Networks and IT architects in development and testing of necessary controls software and inclusion of DLA logic in core PLC templates Create & maintain necessary training documents, standardized work sheets Understand latest industry trends and explore possibilities of using advance analytics tools Understand observations from manufacturing plants and propose improvement solutions & provide feedback Plan and support training and guidance to controls execution, strategic suppliers and plant teams as needed Skills Plc programming, python, Allen-bradley Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Detroit, MI.
