We have been able to provide our clients and communities with extensive experience in space planning, engineering design, and construction cost estimating. Triumph Engineering & Design, Inc. (TED) is currently searching for a talented Professional Electrical Engineer in the State of Michigan. The job opening is a full time, permanent position at our office located in Grand Blanc, MI.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
ELECTRICAL
ENGINEER
With limited supervision, provide the technical, organizational and communication skills to produce well-designed and coordinated construction documents for electrical systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Electrical design for multi-family residential facilities and commercial buildings including hotels, shopping centers, restaurants and warehouses Power and lighting design Load calculations Prepare construction documents - drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, fixture schedules, panel schedules and other specific details related to the project Communicate and meet with clients Coordinate with other necessary design disciplines Approval of electrical submittals related to client construction administration Job site visits for field verification, measurements Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) Other requirements for the position include: Professional Engineer License Applicable work experience Computer-aided drafting experience Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit (a plus), and lighting software
