Job Description
Investigates electronic circuits and medical device components while supporting post-market analysis, risk management, and quality-system activities. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering 1-3 years of relevant engineering experience Electrical engineering background Experience investigating or reviewing electronic circuits and components Knowledge of applied statistics and engineering data analysis Experience working within regulated quality-system processes and procedures Ability to manage technical project deliverables and established deadlines Experience preparing technical engineering documentation Preferred Skills 2-3 years of medical device industry experience Experience performing physical analysis of medical devices Knowledge of medical device therapy products Experience supporting hazard analysis and risk assessment activities Experience with trend management and product-performance monitoring Experience conducting CAPA investigations Experience supporting quality-system escalations and field assessments Knowledge of post-market complaint tracking, trending, and analysis requirements Knowledge of medical device regulatory requirements Experience working with Medical Safety, Design Assurance, Returned Product Analysis, Supplier Development, or Manufacturing teams Job Responsibilities Investigate and review electronic circuits, components, and device-level electrical issues Analyze product data to identify complaint, failure, and performance trends Perform technical and statistical analysis of post-market product information Support physical analysis of returned medical devices Document investigation methods, findings, conclusions, and recommended actions Support hazard analyses and risk assessments related to product trends Evaluate potential product, patient, and regulatory risks Participate in CAPA investigations, quality escalations, and field assessments Support post-market complaint tracking, trending, and reporting activities Ensure investigation and analysis activities comply with applicable quality-system procedures Prepare technical reports and supporting regulatory documentation Coordinate technical investigations with medical safety, design assurance, returned-product analysis, supplier development, and manufacturing functions Track assigned engineering projects and complete required deliverables
