Electrical Engineer

1st shift: Flexible 7-4 or 8-5. 4 days in the office and 1 remote. In this role, you will:

• Design and develop vehicle electrical and electronic (E/E) systems using sound engineering principles
• Collaborate with global, cross functional teams (mechanical, hardware, software, manufacturing, quality, customer support, and suppliers)
• Build and integrate prototype vehicle electrical systems while learning hands on vehicle diagnostics, software bring up, and system troubleshooting
• Contribute to new product development, sustaining engineering, production support, and field support activities

Required:

• One year of experience or equivalent exposure through internships, co-ops, or academic projects related to the design of electrical systems or embedded systems
• Experience using design automation, CAD, Creo, Catia and software development tools

• Exposure to vehicle electrical systems such as diesel engines, hydraulics, x by wire systems, and in-vehicle communication
• Proficiency with electronic development and diagnostic tools (schematic capture, 3D CAD, and debugging)
• Knowledge of EMC design and application guidelines for vehicle electrical system compliance
• Experience with 60V vehicle architectures and electrification components

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Automotive Engineering
