Job Description
E&I Supervisor | Greensboro, NC Direct Hire position •Relocation assistance available Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced E&I Supervisor to lead an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) team in Greensboro, NC. This is a direct hire position and will be responsible for overseeing all electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring safe, reliable plant operations while supporting maintenance, engineering, and capital improvement initiatives.
Voltage exposure: Must have demonstrated hands-on experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical equipment operating at 24 VDC, 120 VAC, 480 VAC, or higher In lieu of an engineering degree, 10 years of industrial maintenance experience and 5 years of Industrial maintenance supervisory experience will be considered.
Must maintain a clean-shaven appearance - must comply in accordance with their requirements for half-face and full-face respirators
Supervise the E&I maintenance team and oversee daily departmental operations.
Manage departmental expenses, regulate workload, and ensure compliance with maintenance standards and procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation.
Lead root cause failure analyses for recurring equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
Support the Engineering department on capital projects as needed.
Develop, recommend, and coordinate downtime, repair activities, and equipment modifications to maximize equipment reliability and plant on-stream time.
Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors supporting maintenance activities and engineering projects.
Oversee upgrades and maintenance of site E&I systems, including electrical power distribution, control systems, lighting, instrumentation, and UPS systems.
Ensure compliance with all ISO requirements related to plant instrumentation and the E&I department.
Determine the most effective repair methods and coordinate outside contractors as needed.
Responsible for hiring, training, and promoting personnel, including establishing skills training and testing requirements. Sirius Staffing is an equal-opportunity employer. Qualifications:
Electrical License/Certificate requiredAssociate degree or Engineering degree 8 years of hand-on industrial maintenance electrical experience working in an Industrial plant environment; must have at 3+ years supervising technicians in an electrical industrial (plant) maintenance environmentMust have an OSHA 30 or MASC (Mid Atlantic Safety Council)Must have Hand-on instrument calibration experienceMust have Chemical Plant experienceMust have Power Generation experienceMust have PLC/DCS troubleshooting experience (programming exp. is not required) NFPA 70E and LOTO experience required Knowledge of PSM environmentsExtensive knowledge of electrical and instrumentation design, troubleshooting, and re-engineering of plant equipment.Voltage exposure: Must have demonstrated hands-on experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical equipment operating at 24 VDC, 120 VAC, 480 VAC, or higher In lieu of an engineering degree, 10 years of industrial maintenance experience and 5 years of Industrial maintenance supervisory experience will be considered.
