This segment is classified into two main product groupings
- carrier network and enterprise network.
Role Purpose Serve as an electrical controls resource for the Divisional Engineering Global Equipment team driving new equipment & system introductions, process improvements and cost reduction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide electrical and controls engineering expertise in support of new equipment & system introductions, continuous improvements, cost reductions, maintenance, and productivity improvements.
- Actively participate / direct all phases of the project including design, fabrication, installation, production start-up support, training of plant personnel and technology transfer.
- Act as the Controls Division engineering POC (Point of Contact) and Internal subject matter expert in control systems (PLC, HMI, Motion Control Systems, Machine Vision), system integration, sensors and electro-mechanical devices to support the receiving of new automated technology and deployment in manufacturing plants.
- Develop control architectures and system integration requirements that will satisfy process and manufacturing requirements.

- Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5+ years of electrical / controls experience with Machine vision system, programming PLCs and HMIs, and Robotics (Fanuc)
- Ability to perform a machine safety risk assessment
- 2+ years experience with AutoCAD or E-Plan
- Omron, Allen Bradley (AB) PLC and HMI programming skills
- Able to travel globally (Mexico, Poland, and China at a minimum)Experiences/Education

- Manufacturing experience
- Experience with SISTEMA evaluations
- Knowledge of SCADA (GE iFix, Ignition, or similar)
- Project Management Skills This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $105,994.00
