Relocation Assistance Flexible Schedule:
80% in-office Position Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software. Collaborate with project teams to integrate electrical models with architectural and mechanical designs. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and efficient modeling processes. Review and analyze design drawings and specifications to identify potential conflicts or issues. Maintain up-to-date BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company protocols. Assist in developing BIM execution plans and implementing best practices for modeling and documentation. Facilitate regular coordination meetings to resolve clashes and update stakeholders on model progress. Support field teams with technical information and provide training on BIM-related software and workflows. Generate and distribute shop drawings, as-built drawings, and other documentation from the BIM models. Ensure all BIM-related deliverables are completed on time and meet the project's quality standards. Here's What We're Looking For (preferred) Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably within the electrical contracting or construction industry. Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant modeling tools. Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and industry standards. Experience with clash detection, coordination, and resolution of multi-discipline models. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with BIM standards and protocols, including LOD (Level of Development) and BEP (BIM Execution Plan). Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and best practices is a plus.
