Currently we are hiring Commissioning Engineers to support large scale mission critical projects across the
USA Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute commissioning activities for data center electrical systems in accordance with project requirements and commissioning plans.
- Review electrical designs, single-line diagrams, specifications, and commissioning procedures.
- Commission MV/LV systems including switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, PDUs, STS, RPPs, and busducts.
- Coordinate and witness FAT, SAT, pre-functional checks, and functional performance testing.
- Perform system energization, load bank testing, and integrated systems testing (IST).
- Interface with mechanical, controls, and BMS teams to support system integration and sequence verification.
- Identify deficiencies, manage punch lists, and verify corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, safety procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements.
- Prepare commissioning reports, test records, and final handover documentation.
- Support client training and operational readiness activities.
Authority:
- You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
- Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Journeyman in Electrical or equivalent.
- 5+ years of commissioning experience on mission-critical or data center projects.
- Strong knowledge of data center electrical architecture and redundancy concepts
- Hands-on experience with UPS systems, generators, protection relays, and power monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with commissioning methodologies, FAT/SAT, and IST processes.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, and test procedures.
- Solid understanding of electrical safety practices and applicable standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA).
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under live-site and critical power conditions. Benefits
