Daily Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems for automated machinery and industrial processes Program, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, or similar) Create and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts Select and specify components including PLCs, drives, sensors, relays, and control hardware Support system commissioning, startup, and on-site troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and technicians to deliver integrated solutions Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and internal procedures (NEC, NFPA, UL, CE) Maintain and update technical documentation , including drawings, manuals, and software backups Drive continuous improvement initiatives and system upgrades to enhance performance and reliability Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering , or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or electrical controls engineering Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting Experience withHMI/SCADA
systems Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and control panels Ability to read and develop electrical schematics and diagrams Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with VFDs, servo systems, and motion control technologies Familiarity with industrial communication networks (EtherNet/IP, Profibus, Modbus) Background in manufacturing or industrial environments Knowledge of electrical and safety standards (NEC, NFPA, UL, CE) This is a standout opportunity for an engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys building, improving, and supporting complex automation systems that keep operations running at peak performance.
