The backbone of the Internet is a series of high-tech subsea fiber optic cables deployed throughout the globe- SubCom has deployed over 50% of them.
QUALIFICATIONS
BS in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 2 to 4 years of plant electrical engineering experience in a factory environment. Knowledge and/or experience with drive systems and industrial controls. Experience and/or knowledge of calibration methods and Data Acquisition system. Familiarity with NEC and OSHA electrical codes. Knowledge of equipment preventive maintenance procedures. Strong communication skills, team leadership skills and ability to provide technical leadership. Highly self-motivated, organized, with excellent attention to details. Knowledge of document control software applications (such asDOCS OPEN
). Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) writing instructions and reports. Drafting experience (AutoCAD or other) would be a plus.NOTE :
