You will play a key role in minimizing operational downtime by diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues while fostering a culture of safety and precision. Responsibilities Execute advanced troubleshooting and repairs on complex manufacturing machinery, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated control systems. Drive equipment reliability by performing proactive preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to extend asset life. Conduct root cause analysis on recurring equipment failures to implement sustainable, long-term technical solutions. Manage facility utility systems, such as HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical distribution, to ensure a compliant production environment. Lead equipment changeovers, installations, and system modifications to support evolving operational demands. Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage within the CMMS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold rigorous food safety standards, GMPs, and OSHA safety protocols. Mentor junior team members through knowledge sharing and hands-on technical training. Required Skills High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational certification is highly valued. 5+ years of progressive experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance. Advanced proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints. Strong commitment to safety, including deep knowledge of LOTO and industrial best practices. Preferred Skills Prior experience working within regulated food manufacturing or similar high-compliance environments. Hands-on experience with VFDs, servo motors, and advanced conveyor systems. Proven track record of independent problem-solving in high-pressure production settings.
