In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems, utilizing your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance. Your proactive approach and leadership skills will help sustain a safe, efficient, and productive environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for hands-on problem-solving and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and control issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing tools such as ohmmeters. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Lead or supervise maintenance teams during projects or emergency repairs, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues. Maintain compliance with safety standards related to electrical work, welding, facilities maintenance, and manufacturing environments. Qualifications Proven experience in maintenance within manufacturing or facilities environments with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices including HVAC, plumbing, electrical wiring, and structural repairs. Supervising or leadership experience in maintenance teams is highly desirable. Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing for documentation purposes. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management is preferred. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to collaborate across departments to resolve issues promptly.
