The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of clients, including federal organizations (i.e. DOD, DOE, etc.). This position will have a primary focus on the daily operations of engineering projects and interoffice collaboration with staff and team members. We are looking for someone with great communication skills, who enjoys being part of a team performing office and field work, and ability to collaborate and develop solutions with other disciplines.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Electrical engineer of projects. Provide design, design management, specifications, and studies of electrical projects. Developing good client relationships. Assist in preparation of engineering fees for procurement of projects.
Typical projects include:
Federal projects. Vertical building designs, such as schools. Power distribution and wiring. Water, wastewater, and industrial waste facilities.
Required Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years experience on similar projects. Bachelors of Science or Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering or related subject. Current PE License or EIT License with ability to pass the PE. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Experience in electrical projects from a design perspective including power systems, power distribution, lighting design, and various building systems. An understanding of building codes and construction issues. Ability to make local site visits. Please note that Wilson & Company is not currently sponsoring applicants for work visas.
Annual Salary :
$100,000 - $120,000
