In-person (All in office/field)Hazen and Sawyer is seeking summer interns for our Buffalo office. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of water-related projects locally and nationally, working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide designs, assessments, and field services.

Key Responsibilities:
Participate in fieldwork, site visits (mostly in-state) and potential client meetings; capable of walking around outdoors and within industrial facilities. Assist in preparing engineering deliverables, including power system studies, condition assessments, design documents (drawings and specifications), and reports. Work directly with experienced engineering team providing mentoring opportunities to learn and develop.
Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, and utility companies to select equipment and coordinate services. Support multiple projects from planning through construction.
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Bachelors/Masters degree in electrical engineeringStrong written & verbal communication skills Self-motivated Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and in group settings Must be proficient in
Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications:
Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and SKM power systems softwareInterest and experience in the water/wastewater industryInterest and experience in construction
