Aminov Search Partners Buffalo, NY Job Details Full-time $85,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering Full Job Description In this pivotal role, you will act as a driving force in managing and optimizing our production facility's power and control systems. Your responsibilities include specifying and maintaining critical equipment, spearheading technician training, and executing troubleshooting and repair strategies to not only meet but exceed our plant's reliability goals. You will play a crucial part in enhancing system efficiency, ensuring power distribution and IO layout align with compliance and safety regulations, and cultivating technical team growth focused on electrical and process control systems. Key duties include serving as the primary expert for troubleshooting power and control systems, offering strategic guidance in establishing and upholding our power and control standards, and leading the execution of the comprehensive power and controls systems blueprint. You will also design and implement a robust training framework for Electrical & Instrumentation technicians, ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory codes. You'll validate and support the integration of MES data from PLCs, work on the creation of machine control and automation applications, and develop strategies to mitigate losses related to safety, quality, reliability, and cost. Your responsibilities extend to managing the safety elements of power and control systems, collaborating on new equipment installations, and serving as the technical authority in control systems training. Your project management acumen will be critical as you lead initiatives ranging from specialty projects to full-scale capital projects, while also applying advanced control, simulation, and process modeling technologies to elevate our process and packaging operations. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, along with at least two years of experience in controls or electrical engineering, and a solid understanding of machine/process control hardware and software.Similar jobs in Buffalo, NY
