Learn More About EAS Job Purpose The Lead Electrical Engineer at Bren-Tronics, part of EnerSys and a manufacturer of advanced portable power solutions, is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting electrical systems and products used in the manufacture of batteries and related products. This role provides technical leadership on engineering projects, works closely with cross-functional teams, and helps ensure products meet customer requirements, quality standards, and manufacturing objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design, development, and improvement of electrical systems and products used in battery manufacturing. Develop electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documentation that meet customer and company requirements. Support the preparation and review of contract drawings and technical specifications. Design, build, and evaluate prototypes to validate product performance. Research and recommend new technologies and design improvements to enhance product quality, reliability, and cost. Work closely with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program teams to support product development and production. Develop and execute product test plans to verify performance and customer requirements. Analyze test results, identify issues, implement design improvements, and support product qualification. Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for product or manufacturing issues. Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, customer specifications, and engineering best practices. Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and design presentations. Qualifications BS in Electrical Engineering 6+ years of electrical engineering experience. Experience with low EMI circuit design, analog design, charger circuits, micro power circuits Effective communication skills with cross functional teams. Ability to accurately and thoroughly document processes, procedures, and training documents.
