Duties Help As a General Engineer (Electrical), you will : Responsible for upgrading and maintaining facilities' power distribution systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), Human Machine Interface (HMI), and Supervisory Control and Da Acquisition (SCADA) Systems. Knowledge of PLC and HMI programming required and ability to set up graphic pages for interface by end users. Perform engineering design work for projects in the electrical and controls fields to include preliminary site investigions to determine feasibility of projects, define problem areas, and obtain da for design. Prepare preliminary design alternives and cost estimes for evaluion prior to final design. Prepare final designs, specificions, and cost estimes for work by both contractors and Corporion personnel. Serve as technical expert and troubleshooter on controls and electrical equipment/systems, including power distribution systems, programmable logic controller systems and human machine interface software programs. Prepare written specificions and justificion for capital plans; discuss projects with vendors; provide informion and training to system users; prepare preliminary and final sketches and drawings for engineering projects using AutoCAD. Be responsible for the design of, and serve as the primary on administrive responsibilities, for the Lock Control/Stus System, surveillance systems, Automic Identificion System (AIS), Traffic Management System (TMS}, computer-controlled HVAC systems, wer level sensing and recording equipment, electronic access control systems and power distribution systems. MANDATORY EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

ENGINEERING
- -To be acceptable, the program must: (1) lead to a bachelor's degree in a school of engineering with least one program accredited by ABET; or (2) include differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a) stics, dynamics; (b) strength of merials (stress-strain relionships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nure and properties of merials (reling particle and aggrege structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, he transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics.
B. COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- College-level educion, training, and/or technical experience th furnished (1) a thorough knowledge of the physical and mhemical sciences underlying engineering, and (2) a good understanding, both theoretical and practical, of the engineering sciences and techniques and their applicions to one of the branches of engineering.
- Current registrion as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT)1 , or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any Ste, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.
- Evidence of having successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examinion or any other written test required for professional registrion by an engineering licensure board in the various Stes, the District of Columbia, Guam, and Puerto Rico. 3. Specified academic courses
