NY ABOUT THE
ROLEPlan, schedule and oversee the execution of all electrical maintenance activities in the plant in order to maximise equipment utilization and reliability. Contribute to reach maximum availability / reliability of the electrical, instrumentation and automation equipment and installations in the plant by performing the appropriate corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance actions at the lowest optimum cost and in compliance with the H&S regulations.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Internal controls providing reasonable assurance of effective and efficient operations, including actions to prevent and detect fraud and protect Company
Plan and direct the work of the electrical supervisor, automation and systems engineers.
Determine and schedule the necessary actions of corrective and preventive electrical, instrumentation and automation maintenance in coordination with Mechanical and Preventive Maintenance Head and Supervisors to assure proper functioning of electrical, instrumentation and automation equipment and installations.
Ensure electrical maintenance team full time readiness to efficiently tackle emergencies or urgent breakdowns.
Plan Quarterly and Annual electrical maintenance plans according to preventive maintenance plans or scheduled corrective maintenance actions.
Ensure Weekly and monthly and outage plans are implemented by the electrical supervisor, automation and systems engineers and their reports or contractors assigned the tasks.
Manage the execution of work order activities, failure data gathering (cause, symptom...), time confirmation (external and internal), and material withdrawal by electrical supervisor, automation and systems engineers
Manage execution of maintenance activities by third parties
Support the Maintenance Manager in the elaboration and control of the maintenance budget, ensuring planning and follow-up of costs. Implement effective and systematic solutions to achieve budget and to meet or exceed targets
Cooperate with Production and Process departments in the execution of complex maintenance actions.
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. Other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education:
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent experience
Field of Study Preferred:
Degree in engineering, electrical engineering preferred.
Required Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years of electrical maintenance, maintenance and or reliability management level experience in a heavy industrial environment, cement industry experience strongly preferred.
Required Technical Skills:
SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.),
Microsoft Project Management Additional Requirements:
Demonstrated leadership, team building and communication (verbal and written) skills are required.
Experience on the tools and supervisory role
Knowledge of industrial safety techniques and practices
Knowledge of industrial maintenance best practices and techniques
Experience working in a union environment
Ability to work in an industrial environment that may include dust, heat, loud noise, etc.
Experience working in cement, mining, steel or similar industries is desirable
Good mechanical aptitude
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
