An Electrical Engineer designs, develops, and tests products and systems that use or produce electricity, including power generators, electric motors, radar and navigation systems, and communication systems. Works on larger electrical systems rather than small electronic products or devices.
Offered We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support a major industrial project in Bowling Green, OH . This is a 6-8 month contract opportunity with per diem available for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Design power distribution, lighting, grounding, and electrical systems for industrial facilities. Develop equipment specifications, construction documents, and contractor scopes of work. Prepare electrical deliverables including one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, conduit and cable tray layouts, and motor schematics. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and client personnel throughout project execution. Support field installation, commissioning, and startup activities. Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Experience designing medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems for industrial facilities. Experience with power distribution infrastructure, including substations, transformers, switchgear, and power station electrical systems . Strong knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA, and NFPA standards. Proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit experience is preferred. Ability to manage onsite projects with minimal supervision. PE license or EIT is preferred but not required.
