Position Overview We are hiring for one of our trusted clients seeking an experienced Power Distribution Manager to lead medium voltage (MV) power distribution systems, electrical reliability initiatives, and infrastructure modernization projects within a large manufacturing environment. This individual will serve as the technical lead for MV systems, supporting plant reliability, electrical safety, long-term asset strategy, and capital improvement projects across multiple facilities. Key Responsibilities Serve as the site technical expert for medium voltage power distribution systems, including substations, transformers, switchgear, protective relays, and power quality systems Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical system issues impacting plant operations, reliability, and safety while leading root cause analysis and corrective action activities Develop and execute preventative and predictive maintenance strategies for MV assets, including equipment standards, lifecycle planning, modernization initiatives, and capital improvement projects Lead MV power distribution projects from concept through commissioning, including budgeting, contractor management, scheduling, equipment specification, and project execution Manage relay protection and coordination activities, including modifying relay settings, performing coordination studies, and supporting overall system reliability Lead arc flash studies, mitigation initiatives, and electrical safety programs while ensuring compliance with NFPA 70, 70E, 70B, IEEE, and related industry standards Coordinate annual plant power outage planning and support utility and transmission authority relationships to ensure reliable incoming power Support SCADA systems, power quality investigations, and continuous improvement efforts related to plant electrical infrastructure and operations Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology required Minimum 7 years of experience supporting industrial power distribution systems, electrical infrastructure, project management, or electrical reliability within a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong experience with medium voltage systems, substations, switchgear, transformers, protective relays, power quality, and electrical safety standards Experience with relay coordination, arc flash studies, and power system troubleshooting preferred Knowledge of NFPA 70, 70E, 70B, IEEE, and related electrical standards required Previous experience leading capital projects, modernization initiatives, and cross-functional electrical reliability programs strongly preferred Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Business is a plus Equal Opportunity Statement Reliance One Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
