Required Skills:
Accredited Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering; PE license highly preferred 10+ years of electrical systems design experience within consulting or related industries Proficiency in single line diagrams, P&IDs, NFPA standards, and power distribution hardware Skilled in power system modeling, control systems, and hardware interfacing Extensive experience with Autodesk AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit, BIM, and AGI32 Familiarity with short circuit analysis, ARC flash studies, and protection coordination (SKM, ETAP) Knowledge of lighting, grounding, lightning protection, fire alarm, hazardous area classification, and low voltage telecommunications standards Understanding of energy-efficient design per IECC and USGBC guidelines Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to lead resources and collaborate effectively Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience with heat trace systems and utility interface design BIM software expertise beyond AutoCAD and Revit Certification or active involvement in professional engineering organizations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred) Professional Engineer license (PE) highly valued Over 10 years in electrical design, especially within industrial or process environments
