An Electrical Engineer designs, develops, and tests products and systems that use or produce electricity, including power generators, electric motors, radar and navigation systems, and communication systems. Works on larger electrical systems rather than small electronic products or devices.
Under the guidance of senior engineering staff, the Engineer I will support a variety of engineering and design activities for power plant upgrades, modifications, and new generation projects. The successful candidate will assist with engineering analyses, calculations, design development, and system modifications while applying established engineering principles, standards, and procedures. Working within multidisciplinary teams, this individual will help evaluate existing plant conditions and contribute to solutions that improve plant safety, reliability, efficiency, and overall performance. Education Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university. Experience 0-2 years of engineering experience.
