Job Description

Job Title:
Electrical Test Engineer Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Test Engineer to manage and execute project and team management activities, including developing detailed ECU development plans, correlating technical project details with stakeholders, and negotiating schedules for deliverables. The candidate will design engineering specifications for Powertrain ECU applications, conduct design reviews, and mentor other engineers on complex design implementations and best practices. Responsibilities Break down project concept details and change points into required development activities without oversight from technical leadership. Design engineering specifications for Powertrain ECU applications, including electrical circuit hardware and software using tools such as MATLAB Simulink or
MS VISIO.
Conduct design reviews with technical leadership and mentor engineers on complex design implementations. Perform engineering troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and solution design using industry standard tools and methods. Conduct testing and verification of ECU specifications related to hardware and software in prototype or mass production level vehicles. Create test result reports and conduct verification reviews with technical leadership. Ensure conformity of assigned systems to external requirements such as Regulations, ISO standards, and Cyber Security. Essential Skills Proficiency in hardware testing, electrical engineering, and electrical testing procedures. Experience in the automotive industry, specifically with Powertrain and ECU testing. Familiarity with CAN protocol, INCA, and other relevant tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to mentor and lead other engineers on system-specific implementations and ensure efficient test planning. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work hands-on with prototype or mass production level vehicles. Work Environment This role involves working with prototype and mass production level vehicles, utilizing advanced tools and methods to ensure electrical functional performance, quality, and reliability. You will be expected to work collaboratively with technical leadership and other engineers in a dynamic and innovative environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Raymond, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
