Controls Engineer

Job Description This position involves working with clients to ensure the quality and timely completion of engineering designs, PLC programming, control panels, and automated processes. The role requires a balance of 60% programming and 40% design. Responsibilities Include Develop and implement PLC programming using Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000. Conduct HMI programming with PanelView and Wonderware. Design control panels and create electrical schematics using AutoCAD. Follow customer specifications and interact with clients throughout the design process. Design electrical schematics, follow customer specs, interact with customers throughout design process, develop bill of materials. Must Have Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or similar field 5+ years experience with PLC programming in Allen Bradley HMI programming experience Experience working with automation controls development, machine upgrades, new builds, etc. Knowledge of electrical controls, schematics, BOMs, control panel builds AutoCAD experience Willingness to travel up to 20% of the year Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or similar field 7+ years experience with PLC programming in Allen Bradley Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toledo, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $53.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
